Stichting IFA is a NGO motivated to establish relationships between the international society and the Dutch community in Almere. Almere Diwali is our first step towards our objectives, where we aim to act as facilitator in bringing the mentioned communities together and start building relationships.
Our members, volunteers, partners and sponsors are an integral part of our organization. We recognize their individual contribution to achieve and sustain our mission.
We are always looking for volunteers who supports our vision and would like to help in making our events to a great celebration.

Organising a large public event, such as the Almere Diwali Festival, comes with many challenges. The organisation must book artists, arrange stages, arrange the fireworks, design and print brochures and posters, municipal and provincial permits must be arranged, meetings and consultations must be held by and with all employees, the website must be updated and countless other activities. All with one goal: to organise a great festival that can take place for visitors to enjoy relentlessly and for FREE.
Of course, this requires support. Such as support from volunteers or financial support.
